An eight year old boy choked to death in a Malaysian fishing village last week when a live fish he'd caught with his bare hands suddenly leapt into his mouth and choked him to death. The desperate fish, endeavouring to escape, squirmed and flipped until finally leaping into the unfortunate boys throat.
Despite efforts to remove the wriggling fish from the boy's windpipe, the boy was declared dead on arrival at a hospital some 10km away. On a more positive note, the still alive fish had its brains bashed out against a rock and was cooked for supper by the family that was left behind.
'Pretty damned tasty fish' commented the boys father when questioned about the ordeal.
