A Taiwanese man is breathing easier today following an operation to remove a set of dentures from one of his bronchial tubes.

The man had fallen three years earlier at his home and blacked out. When he awoke, he was apparently none the worse for wear and spent months wondering where his dentures had disappeared to.

A few days ago he went to a doctor complaining of shortness of breath, and a subsequent x-ray revealed the wayward dentures.

The man commented later that the incident had given him much to chew over.
